Below you will part of the biblical basis for why I am operating
this site. I believe God does NOT want us to give HIS money to
organizations which support things that go against biblical values
and/or that operate in an unethical manner.
1) "Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness
and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have
with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14) This passage
is NOT about marriage. There is nothing at all that talks about
marriage in the context. It has a much broader meaning that
just marriage.
2) "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality,
or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper
for God’s holy people." (Eph. 5:3) This means
don't do anything that might even LOOK like sin, even if you know
it isn't.
3) "No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate
the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and
despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth." (Luke
16:13) Christian dating is big money, which is why so many secular
companies are getting into it. Unfortunately, many Christian website
owners are partnering with these secular companies to make money
by referring people to them. Many of them are well are well aware
of who these companies are; I have actively searched for sites
promoting these sites and have contacted the site owners to inform
them.
